I recently got a new cat Ziggy and discovered that he had fleas, an ear infection and was having trouble with breathing along with mucus buildup. I was able to schedule immediately even though it was a weekend. I was worried that Ziggy may get my other cat Benji sick and so I was relieved with their availability and flexible hours. The front desk was very helpful in getting me checked in and making a record for Ziggy. They were very patient and answered my questions. I felt welcome and confident that Ziggy would get better here. I then was met by the vet tech Nina who was very kind and incredibly patient with all my concerns. She patiently listened and gave my advice on all my issues. I appreciated her attention to detail in examining my Ziggy. She certainly loves animals and Ziggy happily allowed her to handle him through the examination process. Dr Ford later came in to discuss the findings with Ziggy. She also was incredibly patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I truly appreciated her for choosing to give Ziggy a shot of antibiotics as I was having great difficulty with giving Ziggy pills and nose drops. She provided me with a lot of knowledge on Ziggy’s sickness and was price conscientious when putting together a plan for Ziggy’s treatment which I greatly appreciated! This greatly alleviated my stress and anxiety. Dr Ford certainly made an impression with me in her having been so patient with my concerns and also being price conscious on the overall treatment options. After a day I received a follow up call from the office asking on how Ziggy was feeling. This definitely made me feel like they truly cared for him and I shared that he was having trouble adjusting to his new home and was not eating much. Dr Ford was able to give us some appetite boosting medicine that definitely helped Ziggy get his appetite back! I can’t stress enough how amazing the care I received was. I am incredibly grateful to have found an amazing combo with both Nina and Dr. Ford. I plan to move my other cat to be seen by them as well.

I am so happy with St. Petersburg Animal Hospital. When I had concerns about my dog's leg shakiness, other vets told me he was just excited or nervous and that he was fine. Instead of taking that answer at face value, we tried St. Pete Animal Hospital and are SO glad we did. They took our concerns seriously & got him in for X-rays on the spot. They were able to diagnose him and come up with multiple options for treatment plans. We have been with them ever since. They respond quickly, always have flexible appointment times, and are just so friendly & caring! I recommend this office to everyone!

They took so good care of my Sammie during his initial visit & his surgery yesterday. The staff are caring & knowledgeable. I have been there several times when a fur baby needed assistance for their journey over the Rainbow Bridge and their veterinarian service is wonderful. We will definitely stay with them.
